The temple is situated on the banks of the Mahanadi River in Sambalpur, Odisha. Its scenic riverside location adds to its spiritual and cultural charm.

Generally, the temple opens early in the morning around 5:30 AM and remains open until about 9:00 PM. However, timings may vary during festivals and special occasions.
